Facilities & Equipment
Our Applied Laser Spectroscopy Lab (partial view below) is located in the Roger B. Gatewood wing of the Mechanical Engineering building at Purdue University. This lab is shared by Professors Christopher Goldenstein and Robert Lucht and it is home to a wide variety of optical equipment and infrastructure for conducting shock-tube experiments and combustion experiments with gaseous fuels and energetic materials (e.g., propellants). In addition, we frequently work with colleagues in Purdue’s Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories and Ray W. Herrick Laboratories.
